Bringing some exciting news today - Ukraine DAO is organizing Kyiv Tech Summit in collaboration with Unchain Fund x Atlantis World x friends.
Kyiv Tech Summit is a Web3 Hackathon focused on using the power of technology to solve real on-the-ground issues in Ukraine
Since the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine on 24th February 2022, the situation has quickly become dire for millions of Ukrainians. Outside of the humanitarian crisis and military needs required by Ukraine, there is an unprecedented need for new tools and solutions to systemically respond to the new reality.
Our aim is to bring together some of the best developers, technology providers, designers, innovators, and product evangelists who are looking to solve tangible, on-the-ground issues to aid the Ukrainian people in their fight for freedom.

Why?
There is an unprecedented need for new tools and solutions to systemically respond to the new reality of the russian war aggression against Ukraine. Ukraine is currently facing a number of problems that #Hack4Ukraine can help resolve, including but not limited to:
Broken communications and infrastructure
Massive disinformation campaign waged by russia
Refugee crisis
Humanitarian crisis on the ground
Where?
The Kyiv Tech Summit will take place at a yet-to-be-disclosed secure location, with a focus on activating only the community already in close proximity, as well as virtually enabling the global community to collaborate in building technology that will empower the humanitarian aid efforts of tomorrow.
We will include and onboard both technical and non-technical community members into Web3 and curate the hackathon bounties around making life within a war zone safer and more efficient for Ukrainians.
What?
The event will include:
Hackathon - Programmers and others involved in software development; including designers, product managers, project managers, domain experts, etc. collaborate on software projects and concepts.
Panel & Speakers - Speakers skilled in various fields, breakout sessions, and expert group discussions.
Workshops - Participants will learn the fundamental concepts, terminology, and building blocks for programming in Web3, mentored by experienced professionals.
